Customer service fail

UPDATE: In the end, she got a new one, no money involved. Problem solved but with unreseonable effort INITIAL text: Well, how bad can customer service be? non responsive no real action unknown status language problems burocratic all of the above My daughter ordered, paid and received a cooling table. Dead on arrival (DOA). From that moment on, all of the above for weeks/ months company #ggmgastro Until further notice: do NOT order ! I will update this post. Feel welcome to share UPDATE: after contacting them all afternoon, they offered 200 € for the repair. the repair of a cooling table that arrived dead, unknown cost. yep, they don't know customer service but the have our money already for weeks. Refused the offer to be continued 

Global warming accelerated by our wealthy behaviour

 As the temperatures of spring and summer exceed normal situations in the wealthy parts of Europe, the North, you can see following development: Yeah, we want comfort and can afford it. As we already have solar panels on the roof we had better use this power. So we either install aircon's "because we can" or use reversable heat pump installations that can also cool our houses. So, while cooling, these units spread heat outwards in the atmosphere while consuming electricity. What we already see is that together with more and more durable installations (electrification) we are NOT lowering the energy footprint of our housing. In stead of adapting to warmer summers (take it easy, siesta, shift working hours) we install systems. The systems that created the problem in the first place. Same goes for EVs. They have more horsepower than the average ICE and we like and use it with pleasure. The energy per KM rises. We cannot solve the problem with the same technology and approach...
