Moe van Gilmore Girls

Alhoewel ik moeder wel een intrigerende verschijning vind overheerst toch altijd maar één gedachte wanneer ik GG voorbij zie komen: De oneindig aan elkaar verbonden tekst. De ene zin is nog niet uitgesproken of de ander antwoord al. Ik heb nog nooit zo snel antwoorden horen geven op vragen die soms toch wel "diepgaand" zijn. Het gáát maar door. Als je erop gaat letten is het even best wel leuk maar daarna ga je je (ik dus), er aan ergeren.

Een recencent in 2006 schrijft:

Gilmore Girls is so unlike anything else on network television, it's flummoxing. For instance, their typical script is 15-20 pages longer than any other show. Why? Because it contains that much more dialogue. There is less action. Less scenes of the obligatory heartthrob staring off into the ocean. Less of the scenes that all of us have seen a million times before. Gilmore Girls is dialogue. That is the basis of the show. And it succeeds.
